Good Morning Local's Friends! Refugees, Phamily and Digital Neighbors, Early Birds & Dawn Patrol, Conversants and Lurkers, whoever you might be. 🌞 Winter storm Rambo continues to dump on the Midwest. I hope wherever life finds you, life is good and you have arrived at a meaningful Thursday. Happy Thursday some may say, as far as I can tell it has been snowing again since Midnight when I let Jackson out to do his business.
Meaningful Thursday - meaningful life. -e h hits on another theme of maturity for such a young lass. Discernment of gifts and charisms is more needed than figuring out a degree that may offer you little more than a completion of payment certificate. Discernment of gifts or making a living off of your passion may not always be possible. Artist often seem to struggle with the ability to supply their talent and find people willing to pay for it. Sometimes your A game passion has to become more of a joy sustaining hobby while you find employment that provides an income. Hopefully something better than what Erin speaks to in her poem. Anyway, here is a more sobering poem by Erin Hanson, perhaps some good advice from one young soul to another and a wake up call to those further down the road in a lifeless existence. Happy Thursday Local's Friends & Phamily!

Although he spent time as a civil servant in the French embassy to the Hague, Voltaire’s main love was writing—an endeavor where he excelled in various genres, including poetry, which led to his appointment as the royal court poet for King Louis XV. Widely recognized as one of the greatest French writers, and even hyperbolically referred to by ...
Happy National Best Friends Day Y'all!
I strongly suggest combining celebrations for this with National Name Your Poison Day and National Jelly-Filled Doughnut Day. Think I'll have to wash a custard doughnut down with a cold beer later.
