Good Morning Digital Neighbors! Happy Sunday Triggeratti, Fascinating People and all you Merry Bigots! Hello again Phamily, Dawn Patrol, Early Birds & Later Dayers, Friends & Refugees, Supports, Members, Conversants, Lurkers and all you ADD Irregulars.
Thank you all for making these places on Locals worth visiting. It is so good to come to spaces where this is a variety of opinions and experiences, of attitudes and expressions, of humor and interests that are commonplace. While each community has its own distinctive vibe, they all share common threads of mutual respect, humorous responses, and often thoughtful conversation on a wide range of topics. I am sure there is the occasional conversation gone sour, posts reacted too poorly, the overreacting to things easily ignored, but such instances seem to be the exception and not the norm. I don't take that for granted. Much of the social media world is the opposite. Anonymous humanity tends toward being asses. While I can appreciate my fellow smartasses, and tolerate dumbasses, and even indulge the occasional jackass, it is the assholes that often ruin things. Thankfully that last group seem very rare on Locals. Thank you all for what you contribute to your various communities and the climate you help create and the Content Creators you support. Happy Sunday Friends!

Despite his later criticisms against the Church, Voltaire, throughout his life, fondly recalled his dedicated Jesuit teachers.
Although he spent time as a civil servant in the French embassy to the Hague, Voltaire’s main love was writing—an endeavor where he excelled in various genres, including poetry, which led to his appointment as the royal court poet for King Louis XV. Widely recognized as one of the greatest French writers, and even hyperbolically referred to by ...
