Good Morning Digital Neighbors! Happy Thursday ADD Irregulars, WSN Archivists and any others who stumbled into this hole in the wall at the end of the alley. I am glad you found your way here. Be a lurker as long as you want, but being a Supporter opens the door to knowing this eclectic gathering of humanity and participating in its life. We are far from perfect but always genuine. Our humor pushes some boundaries for gentle souls and our rants would disturb the sleepwalking public, we appreciate common sense, healthy skepticism and actual discussions and respectful disagreement. It is a group I love and thank God for everyday.
A simple message for the beginning of the day
LET THE DAY BREAK
Let the rooster crow
like Nature’s alarm clock
that rouses resting Earth.
Let the day break
with a bright sun that peeps
through blackness of Night’s sky.
As the Sun climbs
with welcome warmth,
let the day break
for the owl returning to roost,
for farmers preparing
to work in their fields and meadows.
Let the day break
with joy and gratitude
for new beginnings and fresh starts.
SANDRA H. BOUNDS
Gentle readers, I hope whatever type of day your are entering into it is a good one. If it is a dark or burdensome day I pray you find some relief. While I may not know you, I do pray that today holds good for you and not evil, laugher and not sorrow, peace rather than stress. If your load is inescapable, I pray you have someone to help you bear it or at least a compassionate ear to listen to your story and the gift of being heard.

Although he spent time as a civil servant in the French embassy to the Hague, Voltaire’s main love was writing—an endeavor where he excelled in various genres, including poetry, which led to his appointment as the royal court poet for King Louis XV. Widely recognized as one of the greatest French writers, and even hyperbolically referred to by ...
