Good Morning Digital Neighbors! Blessed Easter Tuesday ADD Irregulars and WSN Deep Divers, Friends & Refugees, Early Birds & Later Dayers, Conversants & Lurkers, PHAM & Misfits, Dawn Patrol & Day Walkers! Good Morning one and all, known and unknown. Yesterday was a rather long babbling in my return, I guess I had plenty to share after Lent. Not so long today, just a thought on this amazing gift we all share - life.

Universe or God, something outside of ourselves receives the gratitude for this awareness. Those who don't stumble across this simple truth, often forgotten when childhood fades, believe they have been cheated by life. Others have made their life less and they have come to lay claim to their entitlement. Until they rediscover the gift, they will know neither joy nor peace. I hope you have found your joy & peace. I have. I don't always keep it in the forefront of my appreciate awareness, but I strive to do that each day. May you have the good fortune of striving for the same, and if by chance you are on the underbelly of the gift, may some kindred souls support you until you rediscover it.

Today marks the three hundred and thirtieth birthday of the Frenchman François-Marie Arouet, better known by his nom de plume, Voltaire (1694-1778).
Born into a bourgeois family during the reign of Louis XIV, the “Sun King” (r. 1643-1715), Voltaire suffered tragedy at a young age when his mother died. Never close with his father or brother, Voltaire exhibited a rebellious attitude toward authority from his youth. His brilliant mind was fostered in the care of the Society of Jesus, who introduced him to the joys of literature and theater. Despite his later criticisms against the Church, Voltaire, throughout his life, fondly recalled his dedicated Jesuit teachers.
Although he spent time as a civil servant in the French embassy to the Hague, Voltaire’s main love was writing—an endeavor where he excelled in various genres, including poetry, which led to his appointment as the royal court poet for King Louis XV.
