Good Morning ADD Irregulars, WSN Curators, Friends & Refugees, Early Birds & Later Dayers, Conversants & Lurkers, PHAMILY & Misfits and all the rest of you Wanderers, Seekers and Lost that roam Locals. With the advent of July I come to my final month at IHM and have to get serious about packing and preparing for the new assignment in August. I have so much gratitude for this chapter of my life and while it will be sad to say good bye to a family of faith I have shepherded and loved, it is part of the life I agreed to live.
It is one of the better things about being an adult, one can hold conflicting feelings in their hearts and live within that tension, grief need not be totally overwhelming (it can be) and gratitude can illuminate every movement of the heart and musing of the mind. Gratitude the feeling becomes gratitude the choice, the predisposition one chooses no matter hat is happening. Many a day I can do that, but I have had days of forgetfulness and needless whining and worrying, neither have brought me much relief or perspective. Thankfully for the better part of a decade or two gratitude has remained a steady perspective, a truth to acknowledge everyday and to smile or laugh at in many moments. Have a great day Digitial Neighbors!

MORNING LIGHT
Each day the soul decides whether

to keep moving on this
journey to understanding
the mystery and beauty
of being alive.

His brilliant mind was fostered in the care of the Society of Jesus, who introduced him to the joys of literature and theater. Despite his later criticisms against the Church, Voltaire, throughout his life, fondly recalled his dedicated Jesuit teachers.
Although he spent time as a civil servant in the French embassy to the Hague, Voltaire’s main love was writing—an endeavor where he excelled in various genres, including poetry, which led to his appointment as the royal court poet for King Louis XV.
