GGood Morning, Digital Neighbors! Happy Monday ADD Irregulars, Refugees, Phamily and Unhypnotized! I hope you all had a great weekend!
Over the years I have ranted about the Cabal during my visits to the RR, Phetasy, Triggernometry (may it rest in peace) and Padre’s. The Cabal of the Enemedia, Academia, DC Uniparty Careerists, Wokertainment, Big Tech & Big Pharma seemed to have a strangle hold on American life. As a naïve Gen Xer I never thought the lunacy of the universities would ever find a place outside of those institutions, but I could not have been more mistaken. I am sure a few of you thought like I did that things like DEI and all the intersectional BS would not find a place in the “real world” or at work. WRONG!!
The rest of the Cabal happily embraced all the sewage pouring out of the universities and used it as a weapon against the public. These last few decades have become an era of disparagement. It became a virtual signal to disparage the inheritance of our nation and Western civilization. The Cabal thought it could safely offer us a new scapegoat – the men of whitelandia of yesteryear and today with their inescapable racism, misogyny and wrongthink. It was somewhat effective for these last few decades in the echo chamber that the Cabal offered their sycophants, the wonders of groupfeel and superiority of being on the “right side of history was more than enough. Those on the middle and right knew the past was not without its faults and men knew that they bore some responsibility. But the Dims were not content with some responsibility, they wanted total blame and no credit to men or to the past. How can you sell that to honest and fair-minded people, in the end you can’t.
Last Tuesday’s election broke the mind of the Cabal. There is more shock that Big Bad Don won the popular vote and made gains with those outside of whitelandia and its inherit wrongthink. The problem with the groupfeel and rightthink of the Cabal is that its alienating nature always adds to the list of those to hate, disparage and malign. Anyone who does not submit to their indoctrination becomes an adjacent resident of whitelandia or its heritage of oppression. Even if you aren’t male or of European descent, you too can be misogynic, xenophobic bigot. I miss the guys from Triggernometry and their frequent use of the word. It was used well to point out the absurdity of labeling people as bigots just because you disagree with them.
Sunday’s CWSA @ScottAdamsSays I think hit upon the number one hurdle facing the Dims. Identity politics was the source of unity by hatred, and it didn’t hold. They had grown so much from it that they thought it was the long-term game changer, the rewriter of history and culture. Their egos blinded them to the fact that it only rewrote relationships. It may have permanently damaged some people (Cat ladies and the Indoctrinated) but its appeal to others was ultimately limited once it was pushed too far. I thought the too far was 8 years ago, then 4 year ago and I was mistaken on both previous elections. Perhaps this is the beginning of the return from too far, and our flirtation with divisive fantasy spewed out of universities and promoted by the Cabal. I am more hopeful now than I was 8 years ago. Happy Monday friends, thank you if you read through this ramble.
Today marks the three hundred and thirtieth birthday of the Frenchman François-Marie Arouet, better known by his nom de plume, Voltaire (1694-1778).
Born into a bourgeois family during the reign of Louis XIV, the “Sun King” (r. 1643-1715), Voltaire suffered tragedy at a young age when his mother died. Never close with his father or brother, Voltaire exhibited a rebellious attitude toward authority from his youth. His brilliant mind was fostered in the care of the Society of Jesus, who introduced him to the joys of literature and theater. Despite his later criticisms against the Church, Voltaire, throughout his life, fondly recalled his dedicated Jesuit teachers.
Although he spent time as a civil servant in the French embassy to the Hague, Voltaire’s main love was writing—an endeavor where he excelled in various genres, including poetry, which led to his appointment as the royal court poet for King Louis XV. Widely recognized as one of the greatest French writers, and even hyperbolically referred to by ...
