Good morning, digital neighbors! Happy Wednesday, old friends, and potential new ones across the internet. The big news in my internet world yesterday was the passing of Scott Adams. I was never really into Dilbert—I knew about it, but never read it. I was too busy with The Far Side, Calvin & Hobbes, and Bloom County to give much time to Dilbert. But 2016 brought Scott into my life with his thoughts and predictions about the election, and then joining him on Periscope for CWSA.I joined his Locals community in 2020 early on but never really vibed there and ended up being more of a lurker. I spent more time on Rubin Report, Phetasy, and Triggernometry. Of late, I stumbled into the free thinkers on Outspoken with Naomi Wolf through a misplaced post that I thought was on Phetasy. It was a happy accident. Chatted with a few fine souls there. This reflection comes to mind when I think of Scott Adams and listening to him on and off for the past decade. Thank you, Scott.

That we are capable.
That is all.
That is everything.

His brilliant mind was fostered in the care of the Society of Jesus, who introduced him to the joys of literature and theater. Despite his later criticisms against the Church, Voltaire, throughout his life, fondly recalled his dedicated Jesuit teachers.
Although he spent time as a civil servant in the French embassy to the Hague, Voltaire’s main love was writing—an endeavor where he excelled in various genres, including poetry, which led to his appointment as the royal court poet for King Louis XV.
