Good Morning Friends & Digital Neighbors! Happy Autumnal Equinox in the northern half of the world and Blessed Vernal Equinox for all ya's living south of the equator. Autumn is my favorite season, followed by Spring. I guess I am getting too old and picky to care for the extremes of Summer & Winter which I so enjoyed in my childhood. The long summers of youth and the fond memories of winter are experiences I treasure. Summer was endless time with friends enjoying days that would never end. Winter would bring snow and snow was so magical when the cold never seemed to numb your limbs and the slop made by it all was just part of its glory.
Autumn, so much beauty, so much change. I pray my autumn years are as colorful and graceful as all the beautiful autumns I have experienced in the last twenty years. I know the beauty was always there, and I would take a passing glance at it in appreciation, but never lingered on it. Some long Sunday drives are in order, poking around this county and the neighboring one to see what trees are in full glory and to take in all the sights and smells of this beautiful season. Back to barns tomorrow - but some colorful leaves in a photo with a quote seems to be fitting for today. Have a beautiful day my friends.

Although he spent time as a civil servant in the French embassy to the Hague, Voltaire’s main love was writing—an endeavor where he excelled in various genres, including poetry, which led to his appointment as the royal court poet for King Louis XV. Widely recognized as one of the greatest French writers, and even hyperbolically referred to by ...
Happy National Best Friends Day Y'all!
I strongly suggest combining celebrations for this with National Name Your Poison Day and National Jelly-Filled Doughnut Day. Think I'll have to wash a custard doughnut down with a cold beer later.
