Greetings Friends & Digital Neighbors! Thinking about the Pilots for Southwest Airlines, Members of the Military and various cultural figures saying ENOUGH to the expansive authoritarianism that has been growing for decades and took off like wild fire during the days of Covid-mania. Nothing changes behavior like fear, and usually not for the good of society. Makes you wonder why one of the most frequent things God says to humanity in the Bible is "Be not afraid."
A few quotes from Oxymoronica - Paradoxical wit and wisdom from history's greatest wordsmiths.
Politics is the art of preventing people from taking part in the affairs which properly concern them. - Paul Valery
If our democracy is to flourish, it must have criticism;
if our government is to function, it must have dissent. - Henry Steele Commager from Freedom, Loyalty and Dissent
One of my most frequent complaints about bureaucracy is it nature to preserve itself and prevent reform. When the Bureaucrats can't isolate and destroy the reformers, they make the mechanics so cumbersome and slow moving that exhaustion and frustration take their toll. It is almost impossible to not be a cynic and think government is really about self-preservation rather than actual leadership or service of the public. It is not easy to push back about the Cabal of Careerist Politicians, Big Tech, Academia, Wokertainment and the Enemedia, but it can be done. The last thing these Keepers of the "Keys" want is the freedom of the individual. It takes a lot to wake up the 60 to 70% of the public that has been lulled into comfortable complacency. Shortages and hunger may prove to be a real fear that the Cabal cannot control. You can't say everything is "fine" when people can't obtain the basics for themselves. Time will tell. Ron Paul article and another barn. Have a great Tuesday friends!

Today marks the three hundred and thirtieth birthday of the Frenchman François-Marie Arouet, better known by his nom de plume, Voltaire (1694-1778).
Born into a bourgeois family during the reign of Louis XIV, the “Sun King” (r. 1643-1715), Voltaire suffered tragedy at a young age when his mother died. Never close with his father or brother, Voltaire exhibited a rebellious attitude toward authority from his youth. His brilliant mind was fostered in the care of the Society of Jesus, who introduced him to the joys of literature and theater. Despite his later criticisms against the Church, Voltaire, throughout his life, fondly recalled his dedicated Jesuit teachers.
Although he spent time as a civil servant in the French embassy to the Hague, Voltaire’s main love was writing—an endeavor where he excelled in various genres, including poetry, which led to his appointment as the royal court poet for King Louis XV. Widely recognized as one of the greatest French writers, and even hyperbolically referred to by ...

Thou, too, sail on, O Ship of State!
Sail on, O Union, strong and great!
Humanity with all its fears,
With all the hopes of future years,
Is hanging breathless on thy fate!
We know what Master laid thy keel,
What Workmen wrought thy ribs of steel,
Who made each mast, and sail, and rope,
What anvils rang, what hammers beat,
In what a forge and what a heat
Were shaped the anchors of thy hope!
Fear not each sudden sound and shock,
'Tis of the wave and not the rock;
'Tis but the flapping of the sail,
And not a rent made by the gale!
In spite of rock and tempest's roar,
In spite of false lights on the shore,
Sail on, nor fear to breast the sea!
Our hearts, our hopes, are all with thee.
Our hearts, our hopes, our prayers, our tears,
Our faith triumphant o'er our fears,
Are all with thee, -are all with thee!
