Good Morning Friends & Digital Neighbors! How about a little political humor and quotes? If you are on Local's chances are you probably aren't doing the happy dance about the current state of affairs in government. I can't imagine anyone outside of the Cabal of Elitism is content, although many seem to be indifferent which is almost like contentment. Thanks or no thanks to the Covid-Chapter of 2020 (it did more to open our eyes than we might realize), we know that state and city officials can be every bit as corrupt as the big tapeworms in DC. They are parasites on society who are sucking the very life blood out of the body. While DC is the most voracious and least accountable of the parasitical masses, we now have confirmed incidents of happy petty tyrants willing to lay down the law like a crazy mad hatter.

VOTE THEM OUT! Retake local government, and rebuild the accountability of the elected to the electorate. It will be a long process without guaranteed success since a little bit of progress is enough for most people to stop long term reform. But perhaps more people are gaining some awareness and those already aware are willing to invest the time, sacrifice and self to bring about the needed change & reform. I am certain we can't agree on what the reform ought to entail, but there is a good chance that liberty minded and personal accountable souls can agree what it ought not to be. ENOUGH should be the unifying word for those tired of what we see now that the curtain is drawn back by 2020 Toto. The wizards are not what they proport to be. Well enough Tom - quotes and photos. Happy Thursday Friends!

When religion and politics travel in the same cart, the riders believe nothing can stand in their way. - Frank Herbert.

It used to be righteous overreaching Christians that we feared embodying this quote - now it is the WOKENESTIENS following their master's commands from the CABAL of Better-thans. No thinking required - learn your catch phrases and carry-on with your programming. Did I say enough Tom? Foolish me. 😉

Politics is a choice of enemas. You're gonna get it up the ass, no matter what you do. - George V. Higgins

Voltaire's birthday 11-21-1694 - A brief essay by Steve Weidenkopf

Today marks the three hundred and thirtieth birthday of the Frenchman François-Marie Arouet, better known by his nom de plume, Voltaire (1694-1778).

Born into a bourgeois family during the reign of Louis XIV, the “Sun King” (r. 1643-1715), Voltaire suffered tragedy at a young age when his mother died. Never close with his father or brother, Voltaire exhibited a rebellious attitude toward authority from his youth. His brilliant mind was fostered in the care of the Society of Jesus, who introduced him to the joys of literature and theater. Despite his later criticisms against the Church, Voltaire, throughout his life, fondly recalled his dedicated Jesuit teachers.

Although he spent time as a civil servant in the French embassy to the Hague, Voltaire’s main love was writing—an endeavor where he excelled in various genres, including poetry, which led to his appointment as the royal court poet for King Louis XV.
