If Roe v. Wade is overturned, the decisions regarding abortion would be returned to the states rather than made legal on a broad scale across the country.
I would be delighted just to see this. If you want to abort your baby at the point of birth, go to the States of Death and feel free to do that. I don't want to live in or support States that see that as an expression of freedom. I have been doing that virtually all of my life. Safe - Legal and Rare was about as honest as Covid data.
MY BODY, MY CHOICE is one of the first and most repeated lies of the Regressive Generation that eventually lead to the WOKE madness we now experience. The real choice was to engage in an activity that could create a third party not privy to the decision of the two participants. Call me Old Fashioned🤔 . My 2 cents - reduced by inflation to about .005 cents.
Today marks the three hundred and thirtieth birthday of the Frenchman François-Marie Arouet, better known by his nom de plume, Voltaire (1694-1778).
Born into a bourgeois family during the reign of Louis XIV, the “Sun King” (r. 1643-1715), Voltaire suffered tragedy at a young age when his mother died. The Lover answered, “Those who said this had never glimpsed the form of the Beloved nor ever truly sought Him, for all beauty is but the reflection of the beauty of the Beloved, although seen very dimly as in a dark and faulty mirror, even as all goodness is a dim reflection of the goodness of the Beloved. So it is that those who love beauty and goodness recognize dimly in them the form of the Beloved and though often in ignorance those who are seeking the Beautiful and the Good are seeking after the Beloved.”
