Good Morning Digital Neighbors! Happy Sunday ADD Irregulars and all Visitors to the Weird Shit Niche' (WSN)! I am glad you were able to stop in today for a visit and a scroll.
A prayer for Rich @eclecticRPT as he heads out on RAGBRAI or Ragnarök (Twilight of the Cyclists) as some have taken to calling it in the community.
Lord, of all good life, we thank you for leisure
which gives us space to enjoy beauty of thought
and sound and sight in our busy, driven world.
We thank you for the enrichment given to us
through art and literature, music and dancing,
for the satisfying search after beauty in the common
things of everyday, our furniture, our cups and
saucers, our cloths, our handicrafts, our gardens.
We thank you that you have given both our pleasures
and the capacity to enjoy them. Keep us generous
in our enjoyment and save us from all forms of
selfishness which keeps us in bondage instead of setting
us free to live fully in our leisure as well as in our work.
We ask it for Your name's sake Amen.
