Good Morning Digital Neighbors! Happy Saturday ADD Irregulars, Friends & Refugees, Phamily & Dawn Patrol, Triggeratti, Fascinating People & Beautiful Bigots, Early Birds & Later Dayers, Supporters, Members, Conversants & Lurkers and all you Vagabonds who abound at Locals. 🌞
At Padre's, Phetasy & Rubin Report I have been posting memories, commentary and links from vintage Sesame Street clips from my childhood in the last week. Over at Triggernometry I don't repeat those post yet another time, I feel like it is too much spam, especially for any who follow me and see the same post at 3 different communities already. Saturdays tend to be different, I hit all the communities with the same morning thoughts. I bring this up because someone in the parish joined and followed me recently. She asked about all the notifications she was getting, I advised her to shut them off. Just go to the community, check your notification bell and scroll through the posts. If there is better advice to provide to others please feel free to add you comments. 😁
As Sesame Street fades in the background, one of the real gifts of being a child is asking questions. The desire to know, understand or at least appreciate experience is fundamental to the awakening mind. Cultivate awakening minds, they are precious gifts to the collective endeavor of humanity. Professor Feynman comes to mind as someone I have only discovered in recent years. If I had encountered him earlier in life, I must have missed his brilliance in my own distraction or disinterest. A few quotes from him and a few others for your Saturday consumption. Happy Saturday Digital Neighbors!

His brilliant mind was fostered in the care of the Society of Jesus, who introduced him to the joys of literature and theater. Despite his later criticisms against the Church, Voltaire, throughout his life, fondly recalled his dedicated Jesuit teachers.
Although he spent time as a civil servant in the French embassy to the Hague, Voltaire’s main love was writing—an endeavor where he excelled in various genres, including poetry, which led to his appointment as the royal court poet for King Louis XV. Widely recognized as one of the greatest French writers, and even hyperbolically referred to by ...
Happy National Best Friends Day Y'all!
I strongly suggest combining celebrations for this with National Name Your Poison Day and National Jelly-Filled Doughnut Day. Think I'll have to wash a custard doughnut down with a cold beer later.
