Good Morning Digital Neighbors! Happy Saturday ADD Irregulars, WSN Vagabonds, Friends, Refugees, Early Birds, Later Dayers, Conversants, Lurkers, PHAM, Dawn Patrol, Triggeratti, Fascinating People, Merry Bigots, Seekers of Civility & Sanity and finally all you Quarterlings!

I hope all you Supporters and Members of these various Locals Communities have had a great week. Much of the inter-webs is a abuzz with the purchase of Twitter by Elon Musk. I am not a fan of putting anyone on pedestals and don't expect cultural saviors in the form of politicians, intellectuals, journalists, entertainers or technocrats. I am happy when one comes along that goes against the stream, that is critical of the system, that sees the self-serving bubble these communities have become. Most of these communities have become echo chambers of mutual admirers who allow compliant underlings to serve them and occasionally become one of them.

I appreciated President Trump for the promise of draining the Swamp even if that remained mostly unfulfilled. I am still more than willing to entertain him as a hopeful advocate of the Great Firing in 2025. Few things could make me happier than the demolition of DC and all of its careerists. Given the disinterest by so many in the populace, term limits might be a viable solution imposed on the swamp critters because they will NEVER chose it for themselves. Employment limits for government positions would be a complementary reality as well. No more Fauci or other figures who have inhabited positions of power and influence for decades. None of these things will ever come from them, it will have to come from engaged citizens. I am not sure how much of the populace is engaged.

Don't be evil - Nice motto for the big G, but of course what is evil has changed ever so subtly for Google and the rest of the technocrats. Much like the bleating sheep in Animal farm the mantra has changed and what has been deemed evil has been compromised by WOKE ideology and correct-think as espoused by the Cabal. The gradual morphing went from freedom of expression and creativity to compulsive sensitivity and communal censorship when you fail to self-censor. Chances are you are part of the evil they now oppose because you subscribed to an Alt-Right platform Locals that does not promote monolithic inclusion and nondivergent assent.

Have all the variety you want in terms of complexion (in fact it is now demanded, lack of melatonin diversity is a grave failing and certifiable sign of systemic evil) 😉 hire people with all the interchangeable genders you can find (you will regret if you don't) and make sure to promote the current thing with the most obvious symbols, statements and internet icons and emojis you can cram into a profile or post. Do all that and you will be celebrated, just don't dissent. Don't promoted wrong-think which is always racists, phobic and privileged. You have been warned, repeatedly. More examples may be needed to persuade (intimidate) you into enlightenment.

I am fairly certain Elon Musk is not the savior of the internet, but I am hopefully he can break some of the precious toys and assumptions of the LEFT so they the lose their grasp on the public discourse. Once they lose their confident control they will become even more aggressive and perhaps, just perhaps, more people will become engaged. Individuals can serve as catalysis of change, but without the engagement of more of the public the CABAL weathers the storm and persists. I am hopeful the CABAL is concerned about a cracking of their system and a loss of their unquestionable leadership. Consistent Engagement and a sustained refutation of their actual evil is the hard medicine the public must be willing to administer. Happy Saturday friends and thanks for listening to your friendly neighborhood friar.

Voltaire's birthday 11-21-1694 - A brief essay by Steve Weidenkopf

Today marks the three hundred and thirtieth birthday of the Frenchman François-Marie Arouet, better known by his nom de plume, Voltaire (1694-1778).

Born into a bourgeois family during the reign of Louis XIV, the “Sun King” (r. 1643-1715), Voltaire suffered tragedy at a young age when his mother died. Never close with his father or brother, Voltaire exhibited a rebellious attitude toward authority from his youth. His brilliant mind was fostered in the care of the Society of Jesus, who introduced him to the joys of literature and theater. Despite his later criticisms against the Church, Voltaire, throughout his life, fondly recalled his dedicated Jesuit teachers.

Although he spent time as a civil servant in the French embassy to the Hague, Voltaire’s main love was writing—an endeavor where he excelled in various genres, including poetry, which led to his appointment as the royal court poet for King Louis XV. Widely recognized as one of the greatest French writers, and even hyperbolically referred to by ...
