Good Morning Digital Neighbors! Happy Tuesday ADD Irregulars, Dabblers & Devotees of the WSN and all other wandering souls that find there way here. IN Cath-O-land and much of Christianity the season of Lent is framed by practices of prayer, fasting and almsgiving. I thought I would look at all of those for a few days, I can't promise you were where my meandering thoughts will take you, but it be about as sincere and unfiltered as I can be.
Why pray?
Ultimately to open yourself up to God and to seek the presence and Person or Persons of God. Prayer as our conversation with God runs the full gambit of any other conversation we would have with a person with a few very important nuances, we are not telling God something He doesn't know and we are not trying in any manner to sway God's attitude to us. Prayer changes us, invites us and beckons us to draw closer to God.
