Social media creates interesting friendships, we can connect with people we have never met and may never meet in person. Yet in the windows that are opened we can begin to know others, sometimes connect easier than in real life since the screen affords us some safety and control over vulnerability & trust that real life may not provide. It is also the lair of the troll & jerkbag, the play ground of the petty & maladjusted, but we hope they just stay on Twitter & Facebook.šš Anyways, thankful for the friends I have met on Locals and the ones that God & good fortune have yet to direct to my window.
