Today in Cath-O-Land we celebrate the Memorial of St. Irenaeus of Lyons. Last year Pope Frances named him a Doctor of the Church and he is now the earliest of the saints given that title of recognition. St. Irenaeus is one of my favorite saints and early authors in the Church. I thought I would share a few quotes with you from his writings.
