I so enjoyed Batman in my childhood. I don't think I went through the teen hate thing of the 70's because I was too young. I enjoyed the campiness of the 60's show. I still think the original bat-mobile is a cool car!
All I can say is the 60's are weird, the 8 women per night is a teaser but he did have a chapter as the Caped CruSwinger.
