Good morning, Digital Neighbors! Happy Saturday, my friends! I hope you all had a good week, and perhaps even a great one. If not, you made it to Saturday, and may that bring a break from whatever was dogging your days. Yesterday’s musical offering was more of my standard listening fare as a child of the ’70s and ’80s. I love the music of my childhood, and I am so thankful that my siblings and parents loved music and that their musical tastes filtered down to me. As I get older, I turn more and more to older music: the rock and pop of the late ’60s and ’70s, and more jazz, big band, and crooners that my parents so loved. Some mellow music for your Saturday listening. Have a great day, Digital Neighbors—I pray that the Divine reveals His kindness and benevolence to you in the day.

Although he spent time as a civil servant in the French embassy to the Hague, Voltaire’s main love was writing—an endeavor where he excelled in various genres, including poetry, which led to his appointment as the royal court poet for King Louis XV. Widely recognized as one of the greatest French writers, and even hyperbolically referred to by ...
Happy National Best Friends Day Y'all!
I strongly suggest combining celebrations for this with National Name Your Poison Day and National Jelly-Filled Doughnut Day. Think I'll have to wash a custard doughnut down with a cold beer later.
