I have had conversations with assorted members at Local's about the blessings of in door plumbing. It is odd how conversations work, one never knows where one might go. Plumbing and sanitation is one of the those things I don't really appreciate until it does not function or is unavailable. Too much of life is taken as a given and then noticed when it doesn't work, is not longer convenient or no longer ready at hand. My reactions to such sudden interruptions in modern living is often not one of patience and problem solving. It was worse when I was younger. I would like to think age and thoughtful living has given me better perspective.
Too much me. It really screws up so much of my going about this world. I hope your "Too much me" can be moderated as well. Prayer, reflection, meditation or thoughtful pondering can help tame the beast. Listening to others, seeing life as an opportunity to learn and grow from experience is more manageable for me than expecting everything to go my way and serve my convenience which almost seems to be a Factory Setting of sorts on humanity. Plumbing, sanitation, electricity and all its wonders, my magic glowing screens and so much more make my life wonderous and amazing compared to what 4 or 5 generations ago knew as their life. So many things are better, some things good have been lost. More to say, but nature is calling and the plumbing still works. 😊 Happy Wednesday Friends!

His brilliant mind was fostered in the care of the Society of Jesus, who introduced him to the joys of literature and theater. Despite his later criticisms against the Church, Voltaire, throughout his life, fondly recalled his dedicated Jesuit teachers.
Although he spent time as a civil servant in the French embassy to the Hague, Voltaire’s main love was writing—an endeavor where he excelled in various genres, including poetry, which led to his appointment as the royal court poet for King Louis XV. Widely recognized as one of the greatest French writers, and even hyperbolically referred to by ...
